If you're into backcountry hunting (which I know you are!) be sure to check out the latest issue of Successful Hunter Magazine.  I have a feature article detailing my DIY, public land, backpack, elk hunt!  It was quite a trip and one that I won't soon forget.  Both my physical and mental toughness were put to the test but persistence paid off in the end.  If you wonder why I stress the importance of being prepared this is why!  Ultimately this article proves that if you want it, then you can certainly have it.  It just takes hard work and dedication.  Hope you enjoy!!!
