Checking In

Hey all!  A little different post than usual today.  It has been a month since my last post so I wanted to check in and let you guys know I'm still here and looking forward to continue providing you with good content related to hunting and fitness.  The reason for the lack of posts has been due to my family and I relocating from Texas to Indiana.  As you could imagine changing jobs, selling a home, buying a home, along with moving yourself and family 1,200 miles has been eating up a lot of time.

This move will also serve as a reset for me of sorts.  My workouts have been lacking and as of right now, I have nowhere to hunt this fall.  I share this information with you to let you know that we are all human, myself included.  If I were to head into the mountains right now I would certainly be handed my own ass on a platter.  Also, just because I love to write about hunting doesn't mean I have this never-ending supply of secret spots I keep saved up for myself.

This will turn into an adventure for all of us.  If you are behind on your workouts, didn't draw any tags, or simply haven't found a spot to try and knock down a whitetail here in a few months we can attack the rest of 2019 together.  So hang on and start plotting your course for success.

With that being said I have had a little time to do some freelance writing and have teamed up with the crew at American Outdoor Revolution.  AOR is hitting the outdoor world with full force and offering three different magazines to provide stories and insight regarding all things outdoors.  I'm featured in the current issue of American Wildfowl Revolution Magazine so I hope that you'll pick up a copy and let me know what you think.

Touching on the non-feathered aspects of hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and similar topics is American Outdoor Revolution Magazine.  Rounding out the revolutionary lineup is Rifles and Racks Revolution Magazine.  Having two daughters and the fact that this magazine focuses specifically on females I am very interested in reading the inaugural issue later this year.
